Know Your Exam
Admission to the three-year D.Ed programme is granted after earning the Senior Secondary Examination certificate, subject to eligibility conditions. First two years include semester examinations conducted by the Board, while the third year is dedicated to internship. Upon completing all four semesters and internship, a Diploma Certificate is awarded by the Board.
Eligibility
Students are eligible for semester examinations only if they possess good moral character and complete the prescribed course of study with at least 85% attendance in recognized colleges/institutes affiliated by NCTE and the Board.
Scheme of Studies
Based on the Re-envisioned Elementary Teacher Education Programme by NCTE, the syllabus is divided into four semesters starting from 2011 admission year. Each semester has prescribed courses, examinations, and evaluation methods as per NCTE guidelines.
