Know Your Exam
Admission to the 2-years D.El.Ed programme is granted after earning the Senior Secondary Examination certificate, subject to eligibility conditions. First two years include semester examinations conducted by the Board, while the third year is dedicated to internship. Upon completing all four semesters and internship, a Diploma Certificate is awarded by the Board.
Eligibility
The candidate must have passed the 12th (Higher Secondary Examination) from a recognized board with at least 50% marks. The candidate should have studied English as one of the subjects at the higher secondary level.
Students shall be eligible to appear in the semester examinations only if they possess good moral character and have completed the prescribed course of study with a minimum of 85% attendance in recognized colleges/institutes affiliated with NCTE and the Board.
Scheme of Studies
In the curriculum of the D.El.Ed. course, the scheme of studies is based on an annual system (yearly). The syllabus is divided year-wise, and each year includes prescribed subjects, examinations, and evaluation methods as per the guidelines.
